A Beautiful Mind
A Beautiful Mind a 2001 Ron Howard film staring Russell Crowe. Tells of the life of the Nobel Prize winner John Nash for his work on game theory in economics which exploring Nash's struggles with Schizophrenia.
- Nash, while in Princeton, plays a game of go with friends twice. GO is often a subject of Game Theory and Nash had several exposures to it.

Pi: Faith in Chaos
PI: Faith in Chaos is a 1998 Darren Aronosfshy psychological thriller. The bizarre film is narrated by a mathematical genius who tries to exploit numbers in the stock market and the Torah.

Hikaru no GO
Hikaru no GO (Hikaru's GO) is a 1998 Japanese Anime and Manga about a young boy "coming-of-age" as he discovers the game of GO through a GO Board of his grandfathers which is haunted by the spirit of Fujiwara no Sai -- a fictional GO Master. The movie was a big hit is Japan and inspired Children throughout Japan to learn GO. It did not hurt to have one of the best looking female GO players in Japan teach GO at the end of each episode.
