GO Supplies
You don't need equipment to play GO yet. If you play members, you can use our equipment. Playing on-line (see Play GO page) requires no equipment. But when you becoming excited about playing on your own board, the links below will help you find a board and stone
Go Stones: Caution: not all stones come in the same size, you must have a stone size that matches your board. Thus, buying sets is a safe bet. Traditional (very expensive) stones are made of slate(black) and shell (white). "Ing" stones are plastic but have a very nice feel due to their metal center. Pure plastic stones are very cheap. (see Sensei).
Go Boards: Floor boards (these are very expensive but classic in Japan), plastic roll-out boards, folding boards, magnetic boards.
Start Cheap: You can buy cheap stones (very cheap plastic sets) and boards at the GO equipment links marked as "cheap". You could even just start out with paper GO board (PDF). You could even build your own Goban.
