Founder: Qi Guan (left) founded the Washington Go Club in January 2008. Qi is a 3 Dan on KGS. He moved to Pennsylvania in late 2007 from Ohio. Originally Qi is from Inner Mongolia in China where he learned Go (known as "Weiqi" in China). Qi is an excellent, patient teacher and is excited about growing the Washington Go Club.

Justin (right) is a 2 Dan and local area University student in IT. Justin played Go for a short time, quickly rose to a Dan level but has not played for a while because he could not find local players. With the formation of the Washington Go Club, Justin has lots of fellow players. Most of us dieing to learn from him !
Sheryl (20k), left, thoroughly enjoys watching Justin and Qi play a very close game. The Washington Go Club has beginners and advanced players and invites all players ! Come and learn or just watch.
